Stow Garden Club 2026 - 27 Event Calendar

All Meetings will be held at the Stow Community Center, 509 Great Rd in Stow unless otherwise stated.  Meetings will begin at 6:45 PM for social time and light refreshments. 

At 7:00 PM, a short business meeting will be held.  

At 7:15, our program will begin.

September

-       September 2nd BYO Picnic Lunch , Gazebo in 323 Great Road in Stow 

-       12:30.  Bring a picnic lunch and if possible, a lawn chair.  Beverages provided. 

October 

-       Members Only Sukkot Luncheon date, time and location To Be Announced 

-       October 17, 11am-3pm,  Bulb Sale in front of Shaw’s Plaza

-       October 22nd Stowcase 

November

-       Nov. 4, 7:00pm, Speaker Gretel Anspach on Native New England Flora.

Pompositticut Community Center, 509 Great Road.  No charge for members.  $5 suggested non-member donation to help cover the cost of the speaker.

December

-       December 2, 7:00 pm, Holiday Make & Take , 7pm,  Pompositticut Community Center, 509 Great Road $15 member, $25 non-member

-       Boxwood Project at COA – Ruth

January and February – Joint Saturday afternoon meetings with Sustainable Stow.  More information to follow.

March-

-       Wednesday March 10, 2027, at 7 pm, Speaker Christine Paxhia on "Peonies: Love of my Life."  Pompositticut Community Center, 509 Great Road.  No charge for Stow Garden Club Members.  $5 suggested non-member donation to help cover the cost of the speaker.

April

-       April 7, at 7:00p.m., Spring Arrangement Make & Take, Pompositticut Community Center, 509 Great Road.  $15 member, $25 non-member

-       Marigold Planting with 1st graders at The Center School

May

-       May 5th  Walk in Acton Arboretum.  Meet at Pompositticut Community Center at 1:30pm to carpool to the Acton Arboretum. 

June

-       June 2, 12:30pm.  Annual Meeting and Potluck Luncheon.  Place to be determined.
