Stow Garden Club Programs for 2025 -2026
All Meetings will be held at the Stow Community Center, 509 Great Rd in Stow unless otherwise stated. Meetings will begin at 6:45 PM for social time and light refreshments. At 7:00 PM, a short business meeting will be held. At 7:15, our program will begin.
September 3 12:30. BYO Lunch Picnic at the gazebo in the Stow Town Center Park at 523 Great Rd Stow MA. and Flower picking at Small Farm.

We will sell daffodils at Shaw’s in Stow on Oct 18 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm 155 Great Road Stow MA
Pricing is: 5 bulbs for $10.00, 10 for $15, 15 for $25 and 20 for $30
November 5 - Invasives in Massachusetts: Barbara McIntosh of the Massachusetts Master Gardeners Speakers Bureau. This program reviews what invasives are, how to deal will them, and the effects of them on our environment.
December 3 - "Make & Take" Holiday Theme
No meetings in January and February
March 4 - The Fascinating Story of Where Our Vegetables Came From: Bonnie Power of the M.M.G.S.B. - The talk will focus on the origins of the vegetables we eat, where they originated, and what they looked like when they grew in the wild before people started breeding them for better yields and flavors.
April 1 - Companion Planting: Gretel Anspach of the M.M.G.S.B. will discuss how two different plants can help at least one of them with nutrients, pollinators, support, and/or pest deterence. She'll name those that are known to work and those that don't
May 6 - Day time visit to the Acton Arboretum
June TBD - Annual Meeting and Pot Luck Luncheon
